Dr. Aurelia Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park is an 1,800-acre park with redwoods, evergreens, and grasslands. The peaceful park is home to wildlife, including the rare golden eagle and the Alameda striped racer. There are many scenic hiking trails, picnic areas, open grass areas, a playscape, and event areas. Temescal Regional Recreation Area is a convenient location for swimming, fishing, and sunbathing. The park has wheelchair-accessible trails, a beach house, a dock for fishing, and a playground. 
 
The RingCentral Coliseum, also known as the Oakland Coliseum, is a sports stadium for major league baseball. Claremont Country Club is a favorite country club and golf spot for many locals. The private club includes many luxury amenities, including an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, outdoor pools, a fitness center, and a beautiful Tudor-style clubhouse.
